Details:
Said Jon, "I have always gone after the bull elk in the past, but as I watched this herd grow from 30 to over 80 in the last few years, I began noting we were ending up with more cows than bulls. I decided it was time to do my part and help equal the herd out. I dropped this cow at 70 yards at 4:40 p.m. PST. She was without a calf and was one of the biggest I've seen in a while. All said and done I processed 260 pounds of beautiful meat and another 40 pounds of meat for the dogs."
