Corey Cogdell is a two-time U.S. Olympian. She is one of the best trap shooters in the world, having won the bronze medal in Women’s Trap at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
She is also a big game hunter. And she has been pretty successful at that as well.
But when it was publicized as a part of her 2012 Olympic bio that she is a hunter, hunting opponents showed their true nature in a series of vile and violent tweets and Facebook postings aimed at Cogdell. Some even demanded that she be stripped of her Olympic medal.
You can check out some of Corey’s hunting photos via her Facebook fan page—many of which still feature the hate-filled, threatening comments directed her way by anti-hunters. You can also read more about Corey from NRA-ILA.
