Arizon-Fish-and-Game-300x300.jpgPlanning for the Second Knoll Shooting Range Project is underway in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests. The U.S. Forest Service intends to issue a special use permit to the Arizona Game and Fish Department for the construction, operation and maintenance of a shooting range on a little over 80 acres of land within the Lakeside Ranger District. In turn, the Game and Fish Department intends to partner with the White Mountain Shooters Association for the long-term operation and maintenance of the year-round range.

The U.S. Forest Service is requesting public feedback about the purpose of and need for the project, as well as what shooting disciplines should be offered at the range. This means the U.S. Forest Service needs your help in designing the range.
