Watch the best of this break out, new series starting at 8 p.m., followed by an all-new episode at 9:30 p.m. ET where hosts Jim Supica and Phil Schreier return to the Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show. There they encounter more unique firearms with one commonality…a great story.
“NRA and Sportsman Channel are showcasing a treasure trove of American firearm history and offering some of the rarest, unique finds that tell incredibly compelling and entertaining stories,” said Gavin Harvey, Sportsman Channel CEO. “On the new episode at 9:30 p.m., the NRA curators discover a .59 caliber sidearm that could have been used in a duel. 8 p.m. (Guns of War): Visitors to the Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show bring various military firearms in to have NRA evaluators Jim and Phil tell them how much they’re worth. From early 1800s naval warfare weapons to classic World War II guns, each firearm has a unique story.
8:30 p.m. (Grandpa’s Attic): A trip to the 2011 NRA Annual Meetings and the NRA’s Antique Guns & Gold Showcase gives evaluators Jim and Phil the opportunity to visit with a few gun owners with some unique firearms. As each firearm’s value is revealed, the owners will find out whether or not this is the type of “treasure” you’d like to find in grandpa’s attic.
9 p.m. (Famous Firearms): A return to the Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show features firearms made famous through popular culture, particularly motion pictures. NRA evaluators Jim and Phil will discuss how these guns become famous and tell their owners what price that fame may have brought.
9:30 p.m. (What’s it Worth?): Evaluators Jim and Phil return to Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show where they encounter the owners of a variety of unique and interesting firearms, including a staple U.S soldier sidearm—the legendary 1911. The 1911 is celebrating its 100th year as an American military sidearm.
